Reception Starters 2026 Play Sessions Starting primary school is a huge milestone, and our Reception Starters 2026 Play Sessions are the perfect way for children to meet their future classmates before September. Hosted at Boffy’s Play Cafe, these relaxed play sessions give local children starting Reception in 2026 the chance to play, explore and build confidence in a friendly, welcoming environment. Parents and carers can also meet other families from the same school, ask questions, and start forming those all-important connections before the school year begins. Whether your little one is feeling excited, nervous, or somewhere in between, these sessions are designed to make the transition into primary school feel a little more familiar, fun and reassuring. Come along, enjoy a play session, meet new friends, and help your child take their first step into school life with confidence.

BOFFY’S PLAY CAFÉ HOUSE RULES To keep everyone safe and happy, please follow these simple rules: 1. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. 2. Socks must be worn in the play area (adults & children). 3. No running outside of the play area. 4. No climbing on furniture, windowsills, or café fixtures. 5. Food and drinks must stay away from the play area. 6. Do not visit if your child has been unwell in the last 48 hours. 7. Please report spills or hazards to staff immediately. 8. Only food and drink purchased on site may be consumed. 9. Please respect staff, other parents, and children. 10. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if safety rules are not followed. BOOKING POLICY 1. Bookings - All sessions must be booked through our online booking system or on a walk in basis. - Payment is required at time of booking. - Your booking is valid only for the date and time selected. 2. Cancellations - Bookings are non-refundable. - If you would like to reschedule your booking, you can do my emailing boffysplaycafe@gmail.com. This must be done at least 48 hours before your original booking date and time. We are unable to reschedule any bookings after 48 hours. - No-shows cannot be refunded or rescheduled. 3. Arrival & late attendance - Sessions start and end at scheduled times. - If you arrive late, your session still ends at the normal time. 4. Capacity - Each session has a strict maximum capacity for safety reasons. - We cannot allow extra people beyond your booking.
