Welcome to Boffy’s Play Café. By making a booking, entering the premises, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These rules help us keep all families safe, comfortable and ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

1. Bookings & Payments
1.1 All play sessions must be booked in through our website, booking system or when entering the building on a walk in basis.
1.2 Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your space.
1.3 Bookings are for a specific date and time and are non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
1.4 If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time.
1.5 We reserve the right to refuse entry if your booking cannot be verified.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
2.1 We operate a no-refund policy on all play session bookings.
2.2 We are unable to amend bookings unless otherwise stated.
2.3 Missed sessions or no-shows cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
2.4 If Boffy’s Play Café must cancel a session (e.g. extreme weather, staff illness), a
full refund or credit will be offered.
3. Safety & Supervision
3.1 Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
3.2 Adults are responsible for ensuring their children play safely and respectfully towards others.
3.3 Boffy’s Play Café is not liable for injuries resulting from misuse of equipment or lack of supervision.
3.4 Socks must be worn at all times in the play area (adults and children).
3.5 Shoes, pushchairs, and large bags must remain in designated areas.
3.6 Please do not allow children to climb on furniture or café fixtures.
3.7 Please do not enter the fenced off play areas with shoes on.
4. Health & Hygiene
4.1 Please do not attend if your child has experienced sickness, diarrhoea, fever, or any contagious illness within the last 48 hours.
4.2 We reserve the right to ask a family to leave if a child becomes unwell during the session.
4.3 All food consumed on the premises must be purchased from Boffy’s Play Café unless agreed in advance (allergy exceptions may apply).
4.4 No outside hot drinks allowed for safety reasons.
5. Allergies & Food Safety
5.1 We cannot guarantee that any of our food or drinks are free from allergens.
5.2 It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to check allergen information before ordering.
5.3 If your child has a severe allergy, please inform a member of staff before ordering food.
6. Behaviour & Conduct
6.1 Aggressive, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour from adults or children will not be tolerated.
6.2 We reserve the right to ask a family to leave if behaviour poses a safety risk or disrupts other customers.
6.3 Damaging equipment intentionally may result in charges for repairs or
replacement.
7. Use of Premises
7.1 Buggies and prams must be placed in the designated buggy area.
7.2 Drinks and food must be kept out of the play areas at all times.
7.3 Photography is allowed, but please be mindful not to capture other children without permission.
8. Parties & Private Hire
8.1 Party bookings require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.
8.2 Final numbers and payment are due 7 days before the party date.
8.3 Any damage caused intentionally during a party may incur a charge.
8.4 Party food cannot be brought externally unless agreed in advance (allergy exceptions considered).
9. Liability
9.1 Boffy’s Play Café accepts no responsibility for:

Lost or stolen property

Injuries caused by unsupervised children

Injuries due to misuse of equipment
9.2 Customers enter and use the facilities entirely at their own risk.
9.3 Nothing in these terms excludes liability for negligence resulting in death or personal injury.
10. General Policies
10.1 We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
10.2 By booking or entering the premises, you agree to abide by the most recent version.
10.3 We reserve the right to refuse entry at our discretion.
House Rules
To keep everyone safe and happy, please follow these simple rules:

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Socks must be worn in the play area (adults & children).

No running outside of the play area. No climbing on furniture, windowsills, or café fixtures.

Food and drinks must stay away from the play areas.

Do not visit if your child has been unwell in the last 48 hours. Please report spills or hazards to staff immediately.

Only food and drink purchased on site may be consumed. Please respect staff, other parents, and children.

We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if safety rules are not followed.
Party and private hire T&Cs
1. Booking & Payment

A non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking.

Final balance is due 7 days before the party date.

Guest numbers must be confirmed at least 7 days prior.
2. Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable.
If you cancel within 7 days of the party, the full balance is still payable.
If the café must cancel, a full refund or reschedule is offered.
3. Food & Drink
No external food may be brought except birthday cake or allergy-approveditems.
Party food & drink menus will be confirmed upon booking.
4. Behaviour & Safety
Children remain the responsibility of parents/guardians during the party.
Damage caused by misuse may be charged.
Staff instructions must be followed for safety.
5. Timing
Parties run for the duration selected.
Extra time is not guaranteed unless arranged in advance and may incur additional charges.
6. Exclusive Hire (If applicable)
Exclusive bookings give full private access to the play area and café.
Only pre-approved guests may enter during the hire period.
